We are now pleased to confirm the details as follows:

On the week of the move and the week we reopen, we will endeavour to provide appointments and prescriptions as usual. However, we would request that you work with us in what we anticipate being a busy time.

Please be assured that you do not need to do anything as a result of the relocation. You will remain registered with Rothschild House Group, Berkhamsted Surgery and will continue to have access to the same doctors and nurses as you did before the relocation.

We have been working with our Patient Participation Group, who have been very supportive in ensuring that the building meets with the needs of our patients and we are extremely grateful for their help. We have included frequently asked questions and a map with this letter for your reference.

Yours sincerely

Frequently asked questions

Why is my practice relocating?

The practice is moving to bigger, purpose-built premises which have been  refurbished and will have wheelchair and pushchair access unlike our current premises.

Will the relocation affect my registration with the practice?

You will remain registered with the practice and will continue to have access to the same doctors and nurses as you did before the relocation. You do not need to do anything as a result of the relocation.

What parking facilities are available at the new premises?

There are currently 6 patient designated parking spaces for Rothschild House Group in the shared car park at Gossoms End. These will be marked with the practice’s name and logo and will therefore, be easy to spot.

Is the new practice accessible via public transport?

Buses Red Eagle 354, Little Jim’s 502 (stop on Durrants Road near the Sports Centre) and Arriva 500 (stop on the high street) have stops only a short walk from the surgery.

Where will I be seen during the move?

On the afternoon of Friday,  22nd January 2021 and maybe a few days before you might be asked to visit one of our branches at Tring. For week commencing Monday, 25th January 2021, we will be open at Gossoms End.

This will however, be a phased opening over two days and again you may be asked to visit our Tring branch. Reception team will give full details at the time of booking.
