All Patients must now allow 3 working days for all prescription requests. We will be unable to facilitate on the day requests for repeat medications for dispensing patients.
Prescriptions can be collected from Dispensary at Markyate with full payment or proof of exemptions. Delivery is only available to housebound patients once discussed with their GP.
We require 3 workings days to process repeat prescriptions and 4 working days notice, before a bank holiday. Please also check with your Pharmacy as different waiting times may apply.
Prescriptions ordered after 6pm cannot be dealt with until the next working day.
Prescriptions or medications will last for one month as per Department Of Health guidelines and repeat prescriptions will need to be ordered.
Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
The right hand slip on your prescription shows the authorised repeats available. Please tick and initial each item you require, please do not tick items for which you still have a supply. You can post or deliver the slip to the surgery. If you do not have your repeat slip available, the reception team or dispenser can provide you with a copy.
We do not take repeat prescription requests over the telephone due to strict confidentiality issues, either send in your repeat slip or come to the surgery and place your request in the prescription box. (Black post box at the side door).
Online ordering is also available. Please speak to a receptionist about setting this up. When using online services please check your account regularly for any messages or queries with your prescriptions.
EPS - Electronic Prescribing Service - Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your nominated Pharmacy in England. Please confirm your nomination with the surgery and Pharmacy when ordering.
If you wish your prescription to be posted please provide a stamped self -addressed envelope.
