We are pleased to announce the intended merger of Rothschild House Surgery and Markyate Surgery from 31st May 2017.
We believe this proposed merger offers important patient benefits combining our strengths, enhancing our team and enabling us to further improve patient experience. Whilst this proposed merger obviously signifies change, we are committed to making the process of integrating the two practices seamless to you.
What does this mean for patients of Rothschild House Surgery?
The service we provide to our existing patients at Rothschild House Surgery and Little Rothschild Surgery will not change. The same system of every patient having a named doctor will continue and the number of appointments we offer will not change. The same doctors will continue to work at the surgery, although some of the sessions may change and additional doctors may be taken on. Otherwise the same clinical and administrative staff will continue and none of the services that we currently provide will change. The catchment area for Rothschild House Surgery and Little Rothschild Surgery will not change.
What will happen now?
We are delighted to announce that Dr Adil Nathoo will be joining the permanent staff at Rothschild House Surgery.
To facilitate the merger with Markyate Surgery from June 1st Dr Nathoo will be job sharing Dr Choudhury’s patient list.
